Our Staff
The quality and dedication of our staff is essential to the quality of the care support we provide. That is why we value our staff and are committed to their ongoing training and development. We monitor our workers continuous progress development closely.
All our staff are carefully selected and interviewed following our safer recruitment policy and are experienced in providing care and support services to each resident. All our staff are carefully screened and undergo a Enhance Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS), check references obtained and their training records carefully scrutinised before they appointed.
Whilst we do our own in-house induction training for our staff, we also have a training partnership in place with an accredited trainer to provide Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) training to equip them with a good knowledge & understanding of their role in caring for the residents.
All staff are trained in mandatory courses as well as receiving on-going training to meet the needs of this type of residents. Most of the staff have completed NVQ2 Award and some are working towards NVQ3 and Leadership/Management. We ensure that all our staff have a comprehensive skills mix in place to enable them to have a high level of expertise to meet the resident ever changing needs.
