Grange Cottage is proud to offer a broad range of services

Accommodation

The accommodations are divided into two wings which are interlinked by a corridor. They two wings named Primrose Wing and Jasmine Wing which have a total of 31 bedrooms and 33 beds as two of them are shared rooms. Twenty-five rooms provide En-suite facilities, some with walk-in shower and some with toilets and five rooms are non En-suite. ‍ Each room is comfortable furnished, carpeted, laminated and some have polyflor. Each wing has its own lounge, own dining room, activities area.
The home has a patio, two gardens areas, one with grass and one with pavement and both have high flower beds for the resident to do gardening. All room are well equipped with Call Bell and Fire Alarm System in each room. There are two stair lifts in each wing to support the residents who have reduced mobility and difficulty in walking up stairs and who are accommodated on the first floor. Residents are welcome and encourage to bring their own personal items to help personalise their room if so desired.

Meals

All the meals provided by the home are freshly cooked by our chefs and special diets are catered for. A dietician service is provided when appropriate. We have a protected time and visiting policy in place.

Fees

Our fees vary depending on the needs of the resident, the level of care they will require and the type of accommodation which are preferred. The fees cover full board and 24/7 hrs care. The home managers will be pleased to give you details of any additional services that can arranged but are charged at extra.

Health and Safety

Grange Cottage Residential Care Home complies with all fire and safety regulation, incorporating smoke detectors and Fire Alarm System.

Laundry

A laundry service is provided with the home. Dry cleaning of outer and specialists’ garments is undertaken at extra cost.

Outings

All outings are geared to the resident needs and capabilities.

Therapeutic Activities

We encourage residents to share with us as much information as possible about their social, cultural and leisure interest to inform the basis of their treatment plan.

We support residents to continue to enjoy a wider range of individual and group activities and interest as possible both inside and outside the home, to carry on with existing hobbies, pursuit and relationships.

The home offers a wide range of activities designed to encourage the residents to keep mobile and most importantly take an interest in life.
